When Creativity Joins People Together

Posted by Natalie Blamire on

Since starting my business in 2015, I have been in awe of just how inclusive the creative community is. I feel incredibly lucky to have met (whether virtually or in real life) others creative people and made some beautiful friends too.

Just tonight I have seen a lovely example of one creative person helping out another with advice and tips to help their business grow. Being a part of this inclusive and friendly community really does make working as a lone business, feel not so lonely at all.

So here in this blog post this week I want to mention three of my fellow creatives and a little bit about them:

Laura Gray, sphinx cat mama and artist extraordinaire, creates art with an explosive splash of rainbow colour like you've never seen before! From stunning pet portraits, to intricate resin art, to her trusty 'Fuck It Buckets', her work really is a colour run styled paradise of unique creations. If you are looking for gifts for animal lovers, quirky gifts for friends and loved ones or a treat for you, Laura will be sure to create something meaningful and personal that with take your breath away... www.inkteriorart.co.uk

Emma and her super cute sausage dog, Lady, together own The Wilton Street Craft Company  Stunning vegan soy candles are made and cleverly and expertly scented with essential oils.  Taking inspiration from the world around them, the perfectly packaged candles come in a range of nostalgic scents. Emma and Lady's candles are a staple in my home and are my go to when creating an uplifting or relaxing mood. My favourites are Lady Grey Tea and Gin and Tonic. Pop on over and see which scents takes your fancy!

Enter the quirky world of girl boss, painter and illustrator, Nicola Fernandes. With brightly coloured illustrations and playful delights you are sure to find gob-smackingly good art and fantastic cards and gifts. All of Nicola's work is designed to make you laugh and put a huge smile on your face. I have had the pleasure of being Nicola's stall buddy at two Etsy Manchester craft fairs... She is one of the most hardworking creatives I know, and a beautiful soul. Just recently (and secretly), Nicola has been designing and painting a huge Manchester bee which will displayed in Manchester this summer. Click the link to find out more and see some of her fabulous creations.

So there your have it, three of my faves... if you are new to the creative world, submerge yourself, get stuck in... Give us all a wave, we're waiting with a virtual (or real if you're lucky) brew and whole load of friendly chatter, help and advice x

Have a great week,

Nat x
