My 'Beginners Hand Embroidery Workshop' at the beautiful Stitch Studio took place this Saturday 16th June, and it couldn't have gone better!
I first met Linzi, the owner of Stitch Studio, through the pixels of Instagram... oh how I love those pixelated squares... It just so happened that the lovely Caron from The Creative Nib had recommended me and my workshops. So we began chatting and after a meet up I booked in with two of my workshops. The first being my Beginners Hand Embroidery Workshop and the Second, and follow up for those with basic embroidery knowledge, The Create Your Own Workshop *there are still places available on the 21st July, click the link to join me ;-)
So my beginners workshop, I had a lovely group of ladies who all had quite crafty backgrounds. This made for lovely conversations about the crafts we'd all tried and loved and the workshops that had been attended. My workshop took place in the larger studio space which is so bright and airy, it really is a beautiful place to work.
The workshop began with a brief introduction of the Natalie Gaynor Designs workshop kit and then... the stitchery began. Colour palettes were chosen, stitches were stitched with great success. Coffee was poured, sweet treats were consumed *to keep a strength up- stitching in no easy task ;-)*
