I just wanted to share a write up on my Create Your Own Hand Embroidery Workshop that took place this weekend at Minikin Paint a Pot in Sale, Manchester and the work of 8 amazing women who attended.
My Create Your Own Hand Embroidery Workshop is a firm favourite with myself and my attendees. With a range of templates and colour options available, everyone can be sure to leave with a design that is unique to them.
We had a beautiful sunny day on Saturday and the sun streamed in through the windows that have been decorated with the most intricate art by myrodoodles.
Starting at 1pm we soon filled our embroidery space at the back of this beautiful bustling pottery shop. With parties taking place up stairs and families coming in to get creative with their pottery items, there was a wonderful atmosphere to get creative in.
So, light boxes at the ready, we got designing. We talked through the designs we wanted to achieve and the colours we wanted to use to make them happen. As an extra to this workshop, I had decided to introduce more colour fabric for the background of designs and as usual my beautiful rainbow embroidery thread boxes were filled and ready to be used to create stunning pieces.
The concentration levels were high and the embroidery stitches were on point... (excuse the pun haha) and tea, coffee and cake supplied by the fabulous staff at Minikin made for a perfect pit stop whilst we chatted away.
Yet again, I felt very proud to work with another incredible group of creatives and support them with their embroidered creations.
